BEFORE TOUR

Many travelers said that it’s an interesting tour combining what they like best for a Sapa tour: homestay + hilltribal market. Ta Van homestay is possibly not the most perfect homestay in North Vietnam, but its charm is the location among the grandiose Muong Hoa valley with large terraced rice fields, and the chance to intermingle with the local culture. Before the tour, you can’t imagine how beautiful and tranquil the village is when sitting in a stilt-house and cast your view over the “masterpiece” rice fields of Muong Hoa valley waving in the autumn wind.

Each market in & around Sapa gathers only on one day of the week. Tuesday is for Coc Ly market. Thursday is for Lung Khau Nhin market. Saturday is for Can Cau market. Bac Ha market is the biggest market around Sapa and only on Sunday.

We have Group tours to Bac Ha only. For other hilltribal markets, you have to book a private tour. You can contact us for a detailed tour and prices.

DURING TOUR

Travel magazine Travel + Leisure (USA) announced seven lovely terraced rice fields, public Tails in Asia and also the world by readers of this magazine polls, as well as the name of Lao Cai – Sapa Vietnam. Bac Ha is 80km from Lao Cai and 110km from Sapa, which costs you 2-hour-driving. You can stop at some minority villages as Ban Pho or Pho Rang and can’t help falling in love with the grandiose terraced rice fields like “the steps upto sky”.

Muong Hoa valley contains dozens of hilltribe villages surrounded by Fansipan mountain range. Don’t miss the chance to intermingle with hilltribe people during trekking, tasting their foods and knowing more about stitl-houses and terraced rice fields “the masterpiece of Hmong people”. If a local invite you a cup of rice wine, kindly don’t refuse because in their thinking, your refusal is impolite in any terms. 75% of cereals of the region is for making rice, which is a bad habit of locals, but this is traditional and even the local government can’t persuade them to give up drinking daily.
